Marathi Shala Aug 24th Session Recap – Fun and Learning!

Yesterdays Marathi Shala session was a vibrant mix of learning and enjoyment. Here’s a quick recap of the exciting activities and progress we made:

Batch 1 Highlights:

  • Session Start: The class began at 10:00 AM with 35 enthusiastic scholars.
  • Segregation into Groups: We divided the Batch 1 scholars into two groups for more focused learning:
    • Group 1: Led by Amita Teacher, assisted by Suhasini, Smita, and our dedicated volunteers. This group focused on students needing extra help with Swar and Vyanjane.
    • Group 2: Led by Sucheta Teacher, this group included kids who already knew Swar and some Vyanjane, allowing for more advanced learning and practice.
  • Interactive Activities: After the learning session, the kids participated in interactive activities where they identified letters and came up with words, guided by our high school volunteers Shravya, Mihika, and Tanushree.

Batch 2 Highlights:

  • Session Start: Batch 2 started at 11:30 AM with 22 scholars joining.
  • Ganesha Stotram Practice: Led by Jayashree Teacher and Audumbar, all scholars participated in practicing the Ganesha Stotram.
  • Marathi Swar and Vyanjane: The session included completing the Swar lessons and beginning Vyanjane recaps, especially focusing on speeding up the learning for newly enrolled students.

Ganesha Workshop Preparation:

  • Batch 1: Kids are preparing for the Ganesha workshop by practicing the Ganesha song, drawing, coloring, and engaging in craft work.
  • Batch 2: Students are working on Ganesha Stotram, crafting decorations, and building their Ganesha idols. They are also involved in planning and executing decoration and cleanup tasks for the workshop.

Overall, it was a productive session with a total of 57 kids actively participating. Our preparation for the upcoming Ganesha workshop is in full swing, and we are excited about the creative and educational activities planned.

Thank you to all the teachers, volunteers, and students for making today’s session so engaging and successful. We look forward to more fun and learning in the upcoming classes!
