Last Saturday, September 28, 2024, our Marathi Shala session was filled with wonderful learning experiences and exciting activities for our scholars. Both Batch 1 and Batch 2 students engaged in enriching lessons that enhanced their understanding of the Marathi language and culture.
Batch 1 Highlights:
For Group 1, the session began with the Prarthana and shlok, followed by a delightful yoga session where the kids practiced the Butterfly Pose. The scholars then revisited the Swar they learned previously, incorporating music into their learning through songs and Badbad Gite.
Group 2 had a special focus on a few key areas:
- Parents, please help your children revise the following:
- “???? ??? ????” ?????
- ???: Butterfly Pose
- ????? ?????: ?, ?
- Body parts in Marathi
- ????? ???: Use these charts
We had a great turnout with 35 Batch 1 scholars joining the session, showcasing their enthusiasm for learning.
Batch 2 Learning:
During Batch 2, students continued to build upon their Marathi skills:
- Parents, please assist your children in revising:
- Manache Shlokas 1-6
- Forming words: Writing two-letter words
- Activity: Writing words from letters
- Upcoming project: Family Tree – Natyanchi Olkha (Due date: October 12th)
This batch also had 22 scholars present, who showed great eagerness to learn.
Additionally, we introduced both batches to the exciting concept of the Marathi Shala Diwali Ank, and the kids were thrilled about participating. In the coming weeks, we will identify specific tasks for each student to contribute different content for our Diwali Ank, fostering creativity and collaboration.
Looking ahead, we will also conduct a mid-term exam in January 2025 for both batches, with further details to be shared soon.
Thank you to all parents for your continuous support in nurturing our children’s learning journey. Let’s keep up the great work together!
