Veterans Park in Tracy, CA, witnessed an unforgettable day on December 21st, 2024, as Aapali MH Marathi Shala and Community Non-Profit Organization hosted a spectacular field trip (Sahal). The event was a resounding success, with over 1,000 attendees, including kids, parents, and community members from Mountain House, Tracy, Manteca, and surrounding areas.

The weather gods were kind, ensuring that the rain stayed away, and the community enjoyed a seamless, fun-filled day outdoors.

The Sahal kicked off with a mile run to get everyone energized, followed by a series of creative kids’ games. These were brilliantly planned by the innovative volunteers of MH Marathi Shala and Community, adding a sprinkle of Marathi and Bollywood music to heighten the enjoyment. The games weren’t limited to kids—parents had their turn too, participating in amusing challenges that brought laughter and joy to all.

After an active morning, everyone relished a special Sahal lunch, lovingly prepared and brought by kids and parents. The delicious menu highlighted the spirit of togetherness and celebration.

The excitement didn’t end there. An impromptu karaoke session had everyone singing along, and the energy soared with a lively DJ session, where attendees of all ages danced their hearts out. The field trip culminated in more games and music, creating cherished memories for everyone present.
