Join us in paying tribute to our beloved Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj through this grand cultural event in May 2025! This is your chance to honor the legacy of Maharaj, showcase your knowledge, and celebrate Maharashtra Din with pride! Keeping theme in mind we are coming with different contest that will bring factual and core information to our young generation and to you. Here is the first contest from series of the contest🎉🚩
About the Contest
As you know, Aapli Marathi Shala and Community always strives to bring महान व्यक्तिमत्वे (Great Personalities) thoughts and learning to inspire our next generation. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has taught us courage, strategy, leadership, and the importance of forts (किल्ले) in स्वराज्य (Swarajya).
To enhance awareness about Shivaji Maharaj’s forts (किल्ले) and their historical significance, we are excited to launch a new contest led by प्रशांत वैद्य जी.
How to Participate?
This 14-day contest is open to everyone—kids and adults!
Every day, we will post a picture of a fort (किल्ला), and participants will have to share key details about it.
To participate, share the following details in our designated (Aapli Marathi Shala and Community) WhatsApp group:
✅ Your Name (Kids/Adults)
✅ Name of the Fort (Historical or New)
✅ Location of the Fort
✅ When was it built / Earliest known mention
✅ When was it included in Swarajya?
✅ 3-4 Interesting Facts, Legends, or Stories about the Fort
✅ Have you visited this fort? If yes, share your experience!
📌 The first day of the Kille contest along with pictures will be available this coming Friday—so stay tuned for more details!
