Mountain House Matters is the go-to news source for local happenings in the community of Mountain House, California.

Located just over the Altamont Pass hills, east of Livermore, Mountain House is situated as the first stop over the Alameda County line into the San Joaquin Valley. Located at the western edge of San Joaquin County, with the city of Tracy just to the east, and the Contra Costa County towns of Byron, Discovery Bay and Brentwood just to the North.
The recognized community newspaper since launching in 2012, Mountain House Matters is published on a monthly basis and distributed by Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) to every address in the 95391 zip code, plus the area of W. Tracy within the Lammersville Unified School District jurisdiction. Total circulation as of the February 2023 issue is 8,571 copies, reaching approximately 30,000 people.
In addition to the mailings, additional counter copies are distributed at various locations around town, and in neighboring communities.
