Guidelines for New Initiatives
Our Philosophy
At Aapli Marathi Shala and Community, we strongly believe that a thriving community is built when ideas come from within the community itself. We actively encourage community‑driven initiatives, especially those led by our high‑schoolers and youth, who represent the future of our language, culture, and leadership.
Our mission is to empower the next generation and the wider community with:
- Information and awareness
- Knowledge and skills
- Marathi language learning
- Cultural values and traditions
We view new initiatives as a powerful way to nurture leadership, responsibility, creativity, and service‑oriented thinking among our youth while creating long‑term value for families and community members.
Who Can Propose a New Initiative?
- High‑school students and youth volunteers (strongly encouraged)
- Parents and community members
