One-day AI hackathon for students 13+ — an MH Shala initiative

Join solo or team up. Find a real-life problem. Build an AI-powered application that helps solve it — then show everyone what you made.

🎓 Who can join — Students 13+
This event is for Students 13+. Student use of AI tools requires parent or guardian permission and must follow each provider's age requirements.

👥 Teams of 1–4
Every team has 1–4 student members — solo participants welcome. Teams work and present as one group.

⏰ Saturday, November 21, 2026 · 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

📍 Location
Delta College, Mountain House — held at the Marathi Shala there. Everyone works in person through the full program.

💡 The challenge
Design a useful AI-based app around the theme revealed at the opening briefing — take it from the first spark of an idea to a working concept and final team presentation, all in one day.

🧰 Approved AI tools
ChatGPT, Gemini, and Codex. (Muse and Claude are 18+ only and may not be used by students at this event.)

🏆 Awards
Three top team awards are planned. Prize details and judges will be announced. Final presentations and awards take place at the end of the event day.
